If you haven't been back there is SO much to see.  The Opera House, as promised, has undergone a major facelift.  Several rooms completely finished with new inventory and new vendors with treasures for every taste.

The vinyl room looks amazing so if you are a serious collector you won't find a better selection in Florida.   We are taking applications for more vendors as each room gets finished so email James@ArcadiaOperaHouse.com if you are interested.   

Also it looks like the Opera House's active spirits have come to the attention of Hollywood (that's all we will say for now) but it's super exciting and we can't wait to share it.

Well, the amazing Docs have put humpty dumpty back together again and he is now, with crutches, back at the Opera House full time.  We are back on regular operating hours and tons of new products are hitting the floor daily.  The 18th is an amazing BBQ Rib Cook off and Pioneer Days in the park (see our events calendar for details) so if you attend make sure you pop into the opera house to check things out!   

Don't forget that we are accepting consignment vendor applications.  We also have unlimited space in our online mall.  It's a flat rate fee to list items...we charge no sales % at all!  Click on the "sell with us" button to the right to read all about it.

Hosting your own website can be impossibly expensive and complicated and the fees at Ebay and Rubylane have run amok!  Our online mall gives you a set amount of slots to sell out of each month for a flat fee.  Pricing starts at $15 per month.  

If you sell 30 items out of those 15 slots....that's your business.  If you sell $3000 dollars worth of inventory out of those slots.....again, that is your business!  You get your own URL that you can share with your customers.  It's the most economical and friendly way to get an online presence.  The Opera House has been getting fantastic web traffic because of our family has some very talented professional web marketers and the Opera House has been getting great coverage on TV from the ghost hunting activities.  Take advantage of our momentum and join now!  First month is free.  If you need help with learning the system, loading pictures or signing up just come by the store or email or call.  

This is gonna be a big one people! The last two fairs have been rained out so we finally have the weather cooperating and a fully booked fair day. Should be a lot of fun. The Opera House renovation is coming along nicely and we still have plenty of treasures at deep discounts while we turn the inventory over. The blue room has a fresh coat of paint and will soon be filled with tools and primitives. The third shipment from our northern store has arrived so look for new inventory soon. As for the ghosts of the Opera House , they remain active. We have three paranormal teams coming to investigate in Feb. and we will post all the evidence here. Just the other night we heard singing coming from the stage again. Just a few notes....but it was enough to remind us that the Opera House is still alive with creative spirits.      Well, we are sorry to report that James had a car accident on the way to work one morning a few days ago.  He is fine  now but it was a very frightening and dramatic experience for us all.  With his shiny new hip he should be back up to the Opera House in no time.  The Dr. predicted months of down time initially but his progress has shocked all and we think he'll be back up those Opera House stairs (with help) in a few weeks.  

     The other shop keepers in Arcadia have rallied to encourage and offer help and we his family are so touched and appreciative.  Thank you all for your kindness and we promise that James will be back in no time!

Last night we were visited by Southwest Florida Paranormal Research and we had an amazing night!  We finally, after being in the Opera House for a Month,  had a few personal experiences and we are hopeful that Leigh and his team were able to capture some of what we heard on digital recorder.  Like a childs giggle, a loud low moan, a high pitch whistle, a man talking, a heavy sigh the entire team heard, wild EMF fluctuations near the front stairs and a woman's voice singing a couple of notes.  That was just to name a few. It was a busy night!  But until we get the evidence reveal from the team they will have to remain just personal experiences.  

This is Deb of SWFLPR with Famous psychic, medium and spiritual advisor, Chip Coffey.  Chip isn't affiliated with SWFLPR in any way but I am just super jealous they got to hob-knob with him!  Deb is a sensitive and seemed to be a lightning rod for the Opera House spirits.

The Opera House now has a new store owner and our doors are open once again.  Our first day was Sat. the 23rd, the same day as the regular 4th Saturday Flea Market, and we had an excellent day.  The entire old inventory has been deeply discounted and we even encourage customers to haggle for bargains.  It's time to shake things up at the Opera House and make room for an entirely new inventory coming down from our shop in New England.  New treasures will be integrated into the store throughout the Holiday Season so make sure to visit often!  

The same night as our opening we invited South Florida Paranormal Group Team-Phenomenon and Univision to come in to film a professional Paranormal Investigation at this historic site.    They spent the night in the old dressing rooms in order to document every disembodied voice and bump in the night.  They plan on returning soon for a follow up investigation and we will be offering "tag-alongs" for any of you who are fans of the paranormal.   Keep your eyes peeled to this website or subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know about our new online store, scheduled paranormal investigations, special events in Arcadia, our new inventory and upcoming sales!
